Michael Jackson’s death comes as a surprise. Sometimes you think people will live forever but no one does.

The question is whether they lived up to their goals. He was no saviour, not even a hero, but Michael is a legacy.

Though caught amidst controversy derived from bizarre behaviour, accused of child molestation, he was a star who gave his fans wonderful music.

The King of Pop was king of the stage till he died. He drew countless multitudes with his seamless stage movement and being in and out of court didn’t drown his fame.

And that proved how far he had gone with his career.

He captivated the young and old. He sold countless albums and every dance move became iconic; none more than the moonwalk.

Many artists like Chris Brown idolised him and he inspired their music careers.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
