Newly promoted Rwamagana City FC will seek their second win of the Rwanda Premier League season when they meet Police FC on Friday, October 28, at Kigali stadium, at 3:30 pm.

The Rwamagana-based side had a poor start to life in the top-flight division having managed to only get their first three points from a win over Gasogi United on Thursday, October 13. They lost five other games.

If they beat Police, away, they will both be level on 6 points as Vincent Mashami’s side has won two games in the last six rounds.

The win is important for Rwamagana, according to head coach Emmanuel Ruremesha. "We need to win. It’s not going to be easy against Police who are not doing well this season and are one of the teams that want to on top of the table,” he said.

"Getting three points on Friday is crucial in our bid to stay in the race of staying in the top division. It’s very important that we don’t lose focus because we’re facing one good team.”

Police are ninth with six points after losing two matches, drawing one, and winning two.

Rayon Sports lead with 15 points after five games despite playing one fewer game than Kiyovu who are second with 13 points.
