Musanze continued their good form on Wednesday after a 2-1 victory over ISAE in the second division.

Emily Musengamana and Djano Hatekimana scored Musanze’s goals while Patrick Nsengiyumva netted ISAE’s consolation goal.

The result kept Musanze’s dream of top flight football intact as the Northern Province club widened their lead at the top of Group A to six points after amassing 23 points.

Nyanza are second with 17 points, one more than Aspej in third place. However, Musanze head coach Rafiki Nshiyimana is refusing to get carried away. "We played very well today but we still have a long way to go” he told Times Sport.

In Group B, Muhanga closed in on Etincelles at the top after a 1-0 win over the later on Wednesday.

The result means that Muhanga are now four points adrift of group leaders Etincelles, who have 24 points. Gisovu are third with 17 points.
