Rwandan gospel music duo Felix Muragwa and Diane Nyirashimwe have formed a great combination in the studio when they brought their voices together while recording the former’s brand new song ‘Amahoro Masa’, in a collaboration that produced one of the best gospel songs of the year so far.

The two artistes had never recorded a song together until they met in Texas, United States, where they were due to perform as part of their evangelical duty.

The song’s audio was recorded and produced by producer Moses while the video was directed by Yan Nic.

In the song, the artists remind people to "turn to Jesus and get close to Him whenever they are about to lose hope and let Him handle the rest.”

"If things turn out to be tough for you to deal with, keep faith in Jesus who is the only solution to your problems and whoever believes in Him will live peacefully,” Muragwa says of the song.

The song in the making

The song is Muragwa’s first release since his Live concert in Austin, Texas back in June this year, which he named after his song ‘Uduhembure’ that he released in December last year.

Diane Nyirashimwa was among the performers who were on the concert lineup.

Her performance impressed Muragwa who immediately sold her and idea to record a song together and the songstress did not hesitate because, at first sight, she also became an admirer of the singer’s performance.

"I loved her music ever since we met at the concert and I had to make plans to record a song together because I believe our song can help many people spiritually,” Muragwa said of collaboration partner Diane.

"When I pitched my music project to Diane, she loved it and we immediately started working on it together and here is the product. I really appreciate her cooperation in making such a nice song for our music supporters,” he added.

Muragwa’s dedication to spreading the Word of God goes beyond music as he holds regular evangelical service online, specifically on his YouTube Channel, and physically especially during Sunday Service.
