Rwanda’s prime club competition, Amahoro Cup resumes this afternoon with the return legs. Featuring prominently are the premier league sides taking on minnows of the second division.    

Rayon Sport goes into today’s game assured of progressing, thanks to a health first leg goal feast of 5-0 against Interforce.

Last year’s losing finalists Atraco have their work cut when the visit ISAE University in Busogo. The taxi men carry a 2-0 goal advantage from the first round.

Defending champions APR host Etoile de l’est at Mumena stadium and Coach Erik Paske is expected to rest his first team ahead of weekend’s league feature against bitter rivals Atraco.

In another game that may attract a big crowd, Amavubi’s striker Said Abedi Makasi will making his debut as Union hosts Amagaju in the day’s earlier kick off at Ferwafa grounds at 13.30 before SC Kiyovu hosts Aspej on the same ground later in the afternoon.

The league debutants, Amagaju are all but through thanks to their 4-0 first leg win.

Kiyovu defeated Aspej 3-0 in the first leg held in Rwamagana a fortnight ago. Elsewhere, Stella Maris hosts AS Kigali in Gisenyi at Tam Tam play ground while Espoir plays away to Etincelles at Umuganda stadium.

Sorwathe plays away to Kibuye at Gatwaro stadium while Electrogaz hosts  Aspor at Kicukiro at 13.30 before La Jeunesse plays Muhanga on the same venue later in the afternoon.

Mukungwa visits Police at Mumena stadium earlier before APR plays Etoile de l’est. Zebres play away to Nyanza in Nyanza while Musanze locks horns with UNR in Butare.
