Dr. Claude also known as Jean Claude Yamuremye has released a single on his new album ‘Yebabawe’. The new hit which is also known as Yebabawe has now hit all air waves in Kigali.

The single is also the title of his new album and is one of the eight songs on his new album yet to be released soon.

"The single is already a hit on Kigali FM stations and people tell me it a nice song, am working tirelessly these days so see that whole album is out,” Dr. Claude said.

The "against success” singer is travelling to Kenya next week to work on the videos and the final bits of the album.

"I am planning to first work on the "Yebabawe” video and then the rest of the songs, hope to complete it in early April for launch in May” explained Yamuremye.

"If it wasn’t for the financial problems, things would be going on swiftly. In most cases this is caused by lack of promoters here in Rwanda. It is the artists that struggle for ourselves to see things get done,” he lamented.

‘Yebabawe’ will be Dr. Claude’s second album. His first album was out in late 2007.

Yamuremye was born in a family of musicians. His mother was a singer in a church choir and his brother Desiré Nziza made it big in the music scene in Burundi and is now based in the United States.

Dr. Claude was born to in Bujumbura to a Rwandan mother and a Burundian father. He started his music career back in 1992 in Burundi but he didn’t succeed until he came to Rwanda.

He first worked as a DJ in Maxim’s Club in Kigali, then in the late 2006 he hit the studios to release his first album a year later.
