"I am a professional driver working with Star Africa media. I have been a driver for the last 10 years when I acquired my driving permit”, tells me Thodee Mutemberizi.

I wake up at 6:30a.m, prepare breakfast and have a shower. Immediately after having my breakfast I leave for work.

I take a taxi from Nyamirambo where I stay to town and then board another to Kimihurura where the Star Africa head office is located. This costs me about Rwf 250.

By 8:00a.m, I am usually at my place of work. Straight away I start work which includes transporting company officials and goods from the Headquarters to designated places.

I am usually extremely busy from the time I start work with almost no breaks in between. However, at mid-day, I go for lunch and rest up to 2p.m.

At 2pm, I resume work which keeps me busy until 5:30p.m when I sign off to go back home.

From my place of work I go to an English teaching school in town where I spend 2 hours learning English. This is from 6:30p.m to 8:30p.m.

When I leave school, depending on the time, I sometimes visit my friends in town then leave for home. I normally reach home at 9p.m, have a shower, take some tea then go to a nearby restaurant to have supper.

By 9:30p.m, I am already home from the restaurant. I take some time watching movies as I iron my clothes if need be.

At around I0:00p.m, I give my God half an hour to pray and latest by 11p.m, I go to bed.
