Reggae Dancehall Friday

Kickstart your weekend vibes with pulsating reggae rhythms at Zion Inn (17 KG 688) this Friday, March 22, from 5 pm onwards.

Well-known reggae artists like Viper, Dee Rugz, Wom Bwoy, and Lioneyes will perform. Whether you&039;re coming straight from work or just chilling at home, this event is a great way to experience Rwanda's reggae music scene.

Holi 2024

The popular Hindu festival Holi is happening in Kigali this Saturday, March 23, at Sud Kigali (KG 674 ST Kimihurura).

"Holi 2024" promises a lively and colorful event with music by DJs Dawee, Buster, Mah Kavadias, and DJ Black. Attendees are encouraged to wear bright and colorful attire and can bring their own colors or purchase them at the venue.

Gates open at 5pm, and admission is free before 8pm, with a fee of Rwf5,000 after. Holi is celebrated worldwide by throwing colored water and powders, symbolizing unity and joy regardless of societal differences.

Rapstars Experience

Green Ferry Music is hosting a listening session for Dr. Nganji’s "Kinyarwanda” album, which was exclusively released to supporters on March 19, on Audiomack and will be available on all streaming platforms on April 22.

This Saturday, March 23, fans of Kinyatrap music are invited to the "Rapstars Experience" at Kigali Sports Bar and Grills. Confirmed artists include Bushali, Icenova, and Romeo Rapstar, with musical blends by DJ Samish and Dr. Nganji. The venue is located at Kimihurura KG 651 St (Kimicanga).

Slam Poetry & Live Music

Unleash your artistic spirit at Cheers Afrika (KG 8 AVE, Gishushu) this Sunday, March 24. "Slam Poetry" offers an evening of acoustic performances by Akaliza Orla, blending poetry and live music from 5 pm to 10 pm. Admission is Rwf3,000.

Urban Kids Sunday Party

La Cachette presents the ultimate Sunday extravaganza for young ones at Mundi Center, KN3 road Rwandex, on Sunday, March 24.

Children can enjoy music, dance lessons by Move Afrika, Fluo Room by Mundi Center, games by Fazenda, and a Sweet Spot offering popcorn, ice cream, sweets, and cotton candy.

Admission is Rwf4,000, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Taste of Kigali and Holi Festival

Kigali is hosting the inaugural 'Taste of Kigali festival' from Saturday, March 23 to Sunday, March 24. The event will bring together approximately 120 local and international restaurants to showcase the nation's rich gastronomic culture.

On Sunday, March 24, the Holi Festival will also take place at the same venue, inviting families for music, food, dance, and celebration. The two-day food and drinks festival will be held at the Kigali Conference and Exhibition Center (KCEV) with an entry fee of Rwf5,000.

'Inkuru ya 30' Concert

Named 'Inkuru ya 30,' the concert, scheduled for Saturday, March 23, at BK Arena, is organised and headlined by members of the Genocide Survivors Students' Association (AERG).

The association's singers and dancers, part of the renowned cultural troupe Inyamibwa AERG, will perform. This event commemorates the country's liberation, marking 30 years since the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Tickets range from Rwf5,000 for regular seats to Rwf37,500 for VVIP. Rwanda Basketball League

Catch the exhilarating Rwanda Basketball League action this Saturday, March 23, at Lycée de Kigali Gymnasium. Witness East Africa University Rwanda vs. GS Marie Reine (women's league) at 1 pm, followed by Inspired Generation vs. Kigali Titans (men's league) at 3 pm.

Admission fees range from Rwf3,000 to Rwf5,000 for courtside seating.
