1. La Cachette Urban Fridays: Neon Fluo

Kicking off the weekend on Friday, February 23, La Cachette invites you to indulge in an evening of feasting and music at their "Urban Fridays Neon Fluo” event. From tapas to Italian cocktails and French wine tasting, this soirée promises a sensory delight.

Attendees can dance the night away to the beats of DJ Kelly 250 and a musical performance by Delah Dube. It’s going down at Mundi Center, Rwandex, starting at 7 pm. Don’t forget to dress to impress in your best Neon/Fluo attire!

2. Super Party Saturdays at Chillax Lounge

For all the club music enthusiasts out there, Saturday, February 24, is your night to shine at Chillax Lounge's "Super Party Saturdays”.

Get ready to groove to the sounds of Old School and Oldies as you enjoy a karaoke session followed by DJ sets featuring Deejays Michael, Mabro, Scratch, Karim, Alvin, and Adams. Head down to Century Park Nyarutarama, doors are opening at 6 pm. Admission is free before 9 pm and Rwf10,000 thereafter (consumable).

3. Hip Hop All-Star Cup: Music meets Football

On Sunday, February 25, Canal Olympia Rebero hosts the "Hip-hop All-Star Cup” from 4 pm onwards. Celebrate Heroes Day month with a thrilling football tournament featuring teams led by renowned rappers Kenny K-Shot, Pro Zed, Maestroboomin, and thedicekid.

Entrance to the festivities is Rwf2,000 per person and you get to revel in the camaraderie of sports and hip-hop music by Grvndlving.

4. Rwanda Basketball League

Get ready for an exciting weekend of basketball action as the league season makes its return! This Friday, February 23, watch Espoir take on Orion at 6 pm, followed by REG facing off against Tigers at 8 pm, all happening at the STECOL basketball court.

On Saturday, catch Inspired Generation versus Kepler at 2 pm, and later, Inspired Generation versus Kigali Titans at 6 pm.

In the women’s category on Saturday, East African University Rwanda will play against Kepler, and REG Women will compete against UR Kigali at 12 pm and 4 pm respectively, at Kepler basketball court. Then, on Sunday, February 25, witness The Hoops play against GS Marie Reine, and APR Women take on UR Huye at 10 am and 12 pm, also at Kepler basketball court. Admission fees are Rwf3,000 for regular seating and Rwf5,000 for VIP.

5. Gakondo Connect Concert

Traditional music aficionados won’t want to miss the "Gakondo Connect Concert" on Sunday, February 25. What to expect? It’s a cultural extravaganza featuring performances by Indashyikirwa Cultural Troupe and acclaimed Gakondo artistes Nyiranyamibwa, Victor Rukotana, Audia Intore, and Alouette.

From 6 pm head over to Atelier du Vin for a night of music, dance, and special promotions on beverages.

6. Kigali Triennial Festival Edition 1

The Kigali Triennial Festival, which commenced on February 16, will conclude this Sunday, February 25. This festival has united over 200 artists from 25 countries to celebrate the richness of African arts and culture.

If you have a passion for music, design, dance, theater, gastronomy, or technology, this event is a must-visit.

Attendees can indulge in music concerts, movie screenings, fashion shows, theater performances, and more. The festival venues include the Kigali Cultural and Exhibition Village (formerly Camp Kigali), Canal Olympia Rebero, and Chez Mayaka Nyamirambo. Tickets for the closing concert can be purchased through the TiCQet platform.
