Actor Jean-Bosco Uwihoreye, alias Ndimbati, is now celebrating after the Nyarugenge Intermediate Court acquitted of the charges of defilement and intoxication of a minor.
In a ruling held at the court’s headquarters in Nyamirambo, on September 29, the presiding judge said that the court decided to clear Uwihoreye because the prosecutors failed to present undoubted evidence to pin him on both charges.
He mentioned that for instance, the prosecution failed to prove the date on which the girl was born to show that she was a minor, and also failed to show the exact date when the two sired their kids.
The actor was filmed waving people in Nyamirambo before he was joined by his fellow actors, friends and family during a celebration night held at one of the hotels located in Kiyovu.
It’s time to get back into business. A new episode of the ‘Papa Sava’ comedy series, in which he will feature, will be exciting to watch.
Niyo Bosco in dilemma
Many may think stardom goes with wealth, but star singer Niyo Bosco does not think so.
In an Instagram post, the singer on Thursday, September 29, dropped a bombshell when he shared that his music is benefiting others rather than him, while he struggles to get a penny from his career.
Niyo Bosco never pointed at anybody behind his financial sufferings but, since the post came out, his manager Irenee Mulindahabi has been on people’s lips with so many thinking that he was taking away the singer’s revenues for his own benefits.
The singer’s future under Mulindahabi could be under jeopardy if he is really the man behind his struggles.
Miss Rwanda 2012 recovers stolen money
It only took Miss Rwanda 2012 Aurore Mutesi Kayibanda three days to get USD 8,000 and Rwf350, 700 back after she reported a man identified as Antoine Sibomana to Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) that he stole $10,000 from her.
The man in question, who was Kayibanda’s house worker at home in Kicukiro, on September 27, found the money in the beauty queen’s car while he was cleaning it and ran away with it.
The 34-year-old was arrested in Karongi District alongside 32-year-old Onesphore Habarurema, who is detained over allegedly being an accomplice after he refused to share Sibomana’s whereabouts.
The duo is now detained at Kicukiro RIB Station as investigation continues before their case file is submitted to the prosecution.
Sibomana was arrested just as he had started to invest part of the money in his own business and, if found guilty, he could find himself behind bars for one to two years and will have to pay a fine worth between Rwf1,000,000 and Rwf2,000,000.
Kayibanda has been in the country on vacation since early July.
A Dream Boys reunion in the United States?
The departure of Jean-Claude Mujyanama, alias TMC, to the United States two years ago marked the end of Dream Boys, a once popular music crew that the singer founded with old pal Platini.
Platini is now building a solo career, a journey that many think he should have started earlier.
With the singer now set to perform in Kentucky, a state in the United States, a reunion with TMC is on the card and people could be braced to see them performing on the same stage once again after TMC’s studies got them separated.
Besides TMC, Platini will also be performing alongside Charly na Nina who left for the United States to attend a youth summit, where the singer will headline.
