APR FC head coach Thierry Froger has his sights set on winning every trophy that is there to play for in his debut season.

The Frenchman made the pledge after inspiring the army side to the final of the Heroes Cup, after beating Musanze 4-2 on penalties in the semifinal held at Kigali Pele Stadium on Sunday, January 28.

Forger is convinced his current group is capable of winning the league title, the Peace Cup, and the Heroes Cup this season.

"We have set our eyes on winning all domestic trophies including Heroes Cup, Primus National League, and Peace Cup to realize our dream of lifting a treble this season,” he said.

"We have a good blend of youth and experience in the squad. I believe in my team’s ability to pull this off but they will need to put their feet on the ground and work hard to achieve such a feat,” the veteran coach said.

APR set the Heroes Cup final date with Police on February 1 after eliminating Musanze 4-2 on penalties. The pair played out a 1-1 draw in regulation time before Pavelh Ndzila saved two of Musanze’s penalties in the shootouts to send his side to the final.

The team also currently leads the title race of the Primus National League, having opened a three-point lead at the top of the table with one to play.

Froger&039;s side also qualified for the quarterfinals of the Peace Cup where they are likely to progress to the semifinals as longs Charles Kakooza Nkuliza stands to his decision to dissolve Gasogi United, their next opponents in the quarterfinals.
