"I will praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are your works and my soul knows it well” Psalms 139:4. This verse teaches us that God makes each person unique and special.

There is something very unique and special about you! You have something no one else on Earth has!

God has given you your very own set of fingerprints! You can hardly see them when you look at the tips of your fingers. However, try this simple experiment that will help you see them better.

Materials: Piece of paper, pencil and transparent cello-tape.

Method: On the piece of paper, completely blacken a small area using your pencil. Rub one of your fingertips on the blackened area.

Press a piece transparent cello-tape on your finger. Lift off the fingerprints with the cello-tape. Carefully place the cello-tape at the centre of the clean piece of paper.

If you are alone do the same for other fingers and see if they have the same pattern. If you are with friends do the experiment while labeling your fingerprints. After that compare the different fingerprints and see if they are the same.

Conclusion: All the fingerprints are different. Your finger print is unique and only belongs to you! In Psalm 139, David talked about the ways God makes us special.

In verse 14 he said "I will praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

The Bible also says you are made "in the image of God” (Gen 1:26). God carefully formed you inside your mother to be just the way you are (Psalm 139:13).
