During a press conference on Thursday, January 25, at Ferwafa headquarters in Remera,

Spittler acknowledged Hakizimana's talent, describing him as a versatile player who excels in various positions. However, he said, due to time constraints, the team couldn't fully utilize his skills.

"He’s a good player. He dribbles, he’s the player that you find on the right, left, in midfield or at the back,” German coach said.

"When you want to use a player of Muhajiri’s profile, you need to build a team around him but time was not on our side.”

The coach mentioned that he plans to have a discussion with Hakizimana in the future to maximize his potential.

"Now, I know his qualities, next time I will sit with him and see.”

Amavubi's next match is against Benin in the World Cup qualifier on June 3.

Currently, the team leads Group C with four points, ahead of football powerhouses like Nigeria and South Africa.
