Gasogi United 0-1 Police FC

Mukura VS 1-0 Étincelles FC

Bugesera FC 2-2 Amagaju FC

Police FC’s impressive form in the Primus National League continued as Saturday’s narrow 1-0 win over Gasogi United at Kigali Pelé Stadium propelled them to third place and move to within a point shy of table leaders Musanze and APR FC.

Ally Kwitonda’s 88th-minute strike was all that Vincent Mashami’s side needed to record their fourth straight win in the league.

The former Amavubi coach is doing everything he can to get his team back together after experiencing a slow start to the season.

The visitors dominated the first half although it ended goalless as Gasogi’s defense looked too organised to concede a goal.

But Police continued to dominate ball possession through midfielder Abedi Bigirimana and Muhajiri Hakizimana until they broke the deadlock in the 88th minute through Ally Kwitonda.

Gasogi United had two glorious chances to score but net but their attackers failed to capitalize them.

Meanwhile, in-form Mukura VS continued their winning form with a 1-0 win over Étincelles FC at Huye Stadium while Bugesera FC and Amagaju FC played out a 2-2 draw at Bugesera Stadium.

Action resumes on Sunday as Kigali awaits to witness the clash of titans between bitter rivals APR FC and Rayon Sports at Kigali Pelé Stadium.
