Police FC welcome Muhazi United at Kigali Pele Stadium on Wednesday, October 11, in a Primus National League week 6 encounter from which coach Vincent Mashami’s side only wants to bag all three points.

It will be a battle of two struggling teams who have four points apiece although Police FC have played a game less.

In their four previous meetings, dating back to October 3, 2015, Police FC won twice and drew twice and no match between the two sides produced more than one goal.

Mashami’s Police have endured a slow start to the new league campaign despite making massive spending spree during the June-July transfer window, Police FC have been very poor.

They beat Sunrise on the opening day, drew with Mukura and lost to APR and Etincelles. Muhazi United have, on the other side, failed to record a single win after five rounds of games in which they scored just one goal.

Despite Muhazi's poor output this campaign, Ghanaian central midfielder Joseph Sackey has been superb as he has bossed their midfield to perfection. He popped up and scored their only goal this season.

Sackey warned that his side cannot afford to falter again and everyone in the camp is in a pensive mood as they eye their first win of the campaign.

"For me, it is going to be my first-time playing Police FC though I had a chance to watch them playing against Sunrise. I anticipate a difficult game but we are ready for it, " Sackey told Times Sport.

"Police FC is a good team but I believe in my teammate’s that we will win. Everyone in the camp is looking forward to the win," he added.

Police FC have an array of star players and, if they find their rhythm, they will be the club to watch this season. Muhadjiri Hakizimana, Moro Sumaila, Djibrine Aboubakar, Didier Mugisha and Abedi Bigirimana are among top players who can turn things around at any day.

One key department of the game which Muhazi United also needs to improve is their attack. Former Police FC striker Onesime Twizerimana is yet to for life at the club and, against his former club, he will be eager to prove a point.

In all, Police FC go into the game as firm favorites but Muhazi can frustrate them just as they did to Kiyovu and ended up getting a point at the same stadium.
