Dear,
Somalia has experienced almost constant civil conflict since the collapse of Mohamed Siad Barre’s regime in January 1991.

The country’s infrastructure and population is in a sorry state. The children of Somalia are starving to death, plagued by diseases because of the fighting.

This is completely unacceptable and the people of Somalia must call for an end to the unnecessary conflict.

There is no functioning leader in Somalia, who can claim to be fighting for any cause as people continue to die in every corner.

They have in fact worsened everything by inviting Osama Bin Laden’s extremists, to operate in their country. This will sink them further into the web of international conflicts condemning Somalia’s population to permanent violence.

Why can’t the Somali faction leaders understand that they are only destroying themselves and their people and stop fighting?

This question beats every one’s logic, which is why I call on them to come to their senses and stop fighting for the good of the people of Somalia.
