Former champions APR will be looking for rare victory against reigning champions REG when the two sides face-off in the national volleyball league at Amahoro Stadium on Saturday, starting at 7pm.

Rwanda Energy Group (REG) beat APR in a four-set thriller in the first-leg, and head coach Elie Mutabazi believes the reverse fixture is a ‘perfect revenge’ opportunity.

“This is our time for revenge,” he said. “We have prepared well, we are ready both physically and mentally. We will play the game as if it is the final.”

Ahead of the two sides’ encounter, REG are top with 12 points, while APR are third-placed with 9 points. Gisagara, at 11 points, are second, while UTB (also 9 points) complete top four.
