The Equity Market The Rwanda OTC market today the 6th of August 2009 recorded no transaction at the close of business. Wednesday 5th of August, Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) had total of 2,994,900 KCB shares traded. KCB share price continued to decline from 21.25 Kshs (158Rfw) to Ksh 21.00(Rwf 156) along with the rest of the market which has been on decline during the previous days. DSE (Dares Salaam Stock Exchange and USE (Uganda Securities Exchange) did not trade KCB shares. The Bond Market The bond market continues to be quiet as no transactions have been recorded. At the close of the business, Rwf 2 billion worth of Government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf 99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf 2 billion and Rwf 5 million for the same bonds at 94.00 and 97.80, respectively. There were also BCR bank bonds worth Rwf 150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50. Ends
