The Equity Market The Rwanda OTC market today the 5th of August 2009 recorded a total turnover of Rwf 247,500 from 1500 KCB shares traded in one transactions at the price of Rwf 165. Tuesday 4th of August, Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) had total of 956,800 KCB shares traded. KCB share price declined from 22.50 Kshs (167Rfw) to Ksh 21.25(Rwf 158) along with the rest of the market which has been on decline during the previous days. DSE (Dares Salaam Stock Exchange and USE (Uganda Securities Exchange) did not trade KCB shares. The Bond Market: The bond market continues to be quiet as no transactions have been recorded. At the close of the business, Rwf 2 billion worth of Government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf 99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf 2 billion and Rwf 5 million for the same bonds at 94.00 and 97.80, respectively. There were also BCR bank bonds worth Rwf 150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50. Ends
