Diogene Ntarindwa is a Rwandan Comedian who has made his way to the international scene, through writing and engaging in one man stage shows. He has managed to earn a living out of it although he is a lawyer from the National University of Rwanda (NUR).
He goes by stage name Mr. Atome and he can be so explosive he’ll get your ribs cracking. Mine just did by the thought of his crackers. Lol. So, what is he when not performing?
The first thing you do in the morning
I say a prayer.
When are you happiest?
When I do things that make my people proud of me.
Earliest childhood memory
It’s when I realized that I had a sight problem at the age of 6. This was when I saw and cheered over something 10 minutes after my fellow children had already done the same.
Failure to accomplish the reason for my creation
The composition and acting a one man`s show that has enabled me move to different parts of the world including USA, France and Burkina Faso among other countries.
Affectionate memory of your parents
The lessons of dignity I acquired from my mother
What keeps you awake at night?
When I have to make sure I effectively represent the image of a group or my country.
The most important thing life has taught you
People’s dreams can be achieved if they insist on measures to succeed
During your free time
I read, listen to music and relax to observe what’s going on around me.
