Dear Aunt Silvia,
I am a married woman and a mother of 2 children. I am a stay at home mum and I appreciate the time I have for my family.
I have been a blessed woman and very happy. Of late my husband has been complaining about very small things, about food and his clothes.
I have two house helps who do all the work and I supervise them. Now my husband is complaining that I should be the one cooking his food and arranging his clothes.
The truth is that I do not like the house chores. He has boycotted eating the food at home until the day I will go the kitchen and prepare his food myself.
I am very frustrated since I am not very good at cooking. What do I do?
There is a saying that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.
Since cooking is a problem, you could consider registering in a catering school and get the cooking lessons and be a smart chef in your home and make your man happy.
Alternatively you could very easily get all the recipes and instructions on how to cook on the internet.
Just Google and browse and you will get all the directions you need for start up lessons on how to cook- but this is only advisable if you can follow instructions, if you are not so good in carrying out written instructions then cooking lessons will do for you.
You are very lucky that your spouse tells you what the problem is, some men decide to get comfort of what they are missing at home in the arms of another woman.
Since you know what is missing in your spouse’s life, take the initiative before it’s too late.
Cutting an onion here and slicing a tomato there is not such a hard thing to do if it is all it takes to make your partner happy.
You can also learn a thing or two from your house help who does the cooking. This way will give you a head start before you enrol in the catering school.
Do you know that if a man is not well fed even his performance in the bedroom dwindles?
Repackage yourself and you better get going girl before it’s too late because a hungry man is an angry man. And good luck.
