Editor, Banks need to stand up and be counted. They should prove that they are truly contributing towards Rwanda’s economic growth. Government baby-feeding banks should not be allowed to continue. We want to see banks involved in job creation, we want to see real customer service in banks when people are borrowing. We want to see banks supporting Government in developmental projects like Hanga Umurimo. We have witnessed banks’ lukewarm response to such schemes and there is need for improvement.
