The youth should lead responsible and exemplary lives so as to impact society positively. The advice was given by Pastor Antoine Rutayisire, who was addressing members of an evangelical and interdenominational Christian organisation during a prayer breakfast at Kigali Serena Hotel yesterday.
The organisation operates in several Rwandan institutions of higher learning. Pastor Rutayisire, a former member of the group, said for the youth to lead productive lives they needed to set personal goals, have a purpose in life and seek to influence their peers and community in a positive way.
He urged the Rwandan youth to be a God-fearing generation and desist from social ills.
The association, which started in 1984, boasts more than 3,000 members.
