Gicumbi sign 17 players

AFTER releasing 20 players, new coach Jean Baptista Kayiranga has recruited seventeen new players to guide Primus League newcomers, Gicumbi Football Club to a succesful debut in the 2013/14 league.

AFTER releasing 20 players, new coach Jean Baptista Kayiranga has recruited seventeen new players to guide Primus League newcomers, Gicumbi Football Club to a succesful debut in the 2013/14 league.

The new players are joining former Rayon Sport right back Olivier Uwingabire and goalkeeper Aime who were the lucky two players who survived Kayiranga’s axe when he took over as the head coach in June.

The new signings include; Pascal Dukuzumuremyi (SC Kiyovu), Rashid Kalisa (Marines), Cedric Samba, Selman Harerimana, Kikunda Kabuluta, Danny Barthez, Steven Habimana and Ibrahim Habumugisha (Etincelles).

Others are Deo Niyibizi, Djafar Nsengiyunva, Haruna Muvunyi, Madjaliwa Niyigena, Cedrick Kubwimana, Jean Marie Vianney Muvandimwe, Cedrick Mugezi, Jean Paul Kayigamba and Vincent Habamahoro.

Kayiranga is keen on signing many more players as he seeks to have an effective team before the start of the season.
