City of Kigali should avoid radical decisions

Editor,

Hasn't City of Kigali learned anything yet from its drastic methodology in decision making? If we are talking about censorship, then the issue is bigger than the City itself.

And what does "indecent" mean in Rwanda? I mean about a decade ago, wearing a miniskirt was indecent, today it is not.  And how do you just say “With effect from today" yet you are still discussing with concerned parties? In other words, ordering multimillion institutions/investors that contribute massively to the growth of this country?

This is not a military institution where people do things first then complain later. Or is it? And next time, the City of Kigali finds out something wrong with whatever, discuss the issue openly. Why are you so radical? We all want the same thing: to see Rwanda grow  and prosper. But how can we, if you don't let us dream, think, do?

Dear Mayor of City of Kigali,

Kindly consider the fact that Rwanda is exercising freedom of expression. This initiative is contrary to the cause and focus of our country. Mr Mayor, I doubt you are aware of the campaign going on to ease doing business in Rwanda because if your honorable office knew about this campaign, you would rather support it than frustrate it.
