Rwanda has not been seeded for the draw of the 2015 Africa Cup of  Nations due in Morocco, according to Confederation of African Football (Caf).

The draw will take place on March 10 during Caf General Assembly, with the qualification procedure reverting to its normal format as opposed to the modified mode for the just-concluded edition.

Forty-four teams are on the starting line and seeded in four pots of 11 teams each according to their current ranking.

Rwanda, who were this month ranked 130 worldwide,  missed out on this year’s Africa Cup of Nations finals and will hope to make a comeback for a place in the 2015 Afcon finals.

CHAN last time Rwanda qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations was way back in 2004 in the finals which were held in Tunisia.

Seedings

Pot one: Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Togo, Mali, South Africa, Cape Verde, DR Congo, Zambia, Tunisia, and Ghana.

Pot two: Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Senegal, Cameroon, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Gabon, Uganda, Congo, and Central African Republic.

Pot three: Ethiopia, Benin, Angola, Niger, Zimbabwe, Equatorial, Mozambique, Malawi, Burundi, Liberia, and Sudan.

Pot four: To be determined after the preliminary round.
