Eric KABEERA,  in his commentary, ‘‘ Make the most of regional opportunities,’’ (The New Times,  February 18), is absolutely correct. In Kenya and Uganda, the governments do not advise the business people to come to Rwanda. As you rightly say, the onus is on us, the Rwandan entrepreneurs, to be aggressive.

One challenge though - we are not as smart and as experienced as the Kenyans and Ugandans, but that will come with time. I have worked in all the five EAC countries and 20 years ago, they were perhaps far behind where we are now.

I really think our Private Sector Federation should do more by way of business workshops and seminars every quarter to enable Rwandan entrepreneurs to share and learn from the Kenyans and Ugandans.

You also rightly asked what they are bringing to Rwanda. It is up to us, not them, to learn as much as possible from them.

The PSF can coordinate the sharing of experiences.
