Dear editor,Whether you call it genocide or not the Darfur conflict is running out of control despite AU efforts. According to reliable sources, the five years violence has left 400,000 dead and forced nearly two-and-a-half million people to flee their homes. A number of armed militia groups have led to a new wave of violence that is hitting the millions inside the region’s refugee camps. If the trend of events remains the way it is, today, I am afraid we shall begin to define genocide rightly in the near future. NYAMIRAMBO
