Besides being touted as one of the most promising female rappers in the country, she is currently one of the recognisable faces in showbiz and one of the sought after talented female singers of her time.

Marie Grace Abayizera, known by her stage name Young Grace, has risen to prominence after winning many musical accolades. After clinchingthe 2010 Salax Awards “Teen Artiste of the Year”, she was recently nominated for the 2011 Salax Awards “Female Artiste of the Year”, alongside Miss JoJo, Knowles, and Paccy.

She has also collaborated with several local artistes such as Jay Polly, Knowles, Lil G and Empress from Uganda.

Young Grace has various tracks under her belt including “Adresse”, “Bible”, “Sinareka Muzika”, “Mpa Umusada” “Uri Final”, “Ikigusha” “Ikimenyane” and “Aravugiriza”, which expressly shot her into stardom. And the gods may continue to smile upon her this year as well.

With the unprecedented popularity she is receiving coupled with her natural beauty, talent, vocal ability, drive and challenges, it is only fitting to say that Young Grace is nothing but a young diva.

Young Grace was born on September 21, 1994 in the Northern Province to Samson Turatsinze and Immaculate Yankurije.
