It seems local artistes are doing their part in helping start off the festive season. After Kamichi’s album launch this weekend, music lovers will on December 10 join King James at the launch of his second album titled ‘Umuvandimwe’  (a relative) at the Petit Stade in Remera, Kigali.

As usual, a host of local musicians are lined up for the night including Kitoko, Riderman, Jay Polly, Knowles, Urban Boys, Dream Boys, Danny and DJ Bissoso, behind the wheels.

The album titled ‘Umuvandimwe’ is his second.

“My album launch will only have home talents because I believe we (local musicians) have built ourselves a large fan base. I think there is no need of bringing musicians from other countries because we’ve proved our strength over the years.”

”Since I started my music career; I have made numerous friends who’ve been very supportive. In the Rwandan culture, when a person becomes your good friend for some time, they become like relatives to you. I dedicate the album to my fans who I consider as relatives,” explained King James.

Entrance to the show that will start at 5:00 PM is Rwf5,000  for the V.I.P seats and Rfw3, 000 elsewhere.

Thereafter, an after party will be held at Quelque-Part pub in the Kigali city centre
