AFTER losing their opening game to Central African Republic (CAR), an even tougher task awaits Rwanda this afternoon when they play Tunisia in Group D.

Vaceslav Kavedzija has challenged his guns to beef up their offensive against the North Africans who thumped Togo 103-56 on Wednesday.

Rwanda lost to CAR 61-89.

In Group C, South Africa succumbed to their second successive defeat at the hands of Cameroon 65-87.

South Africa lost the first three quarters 17-23, 13-17, 11-24 before winning the last one 24-23.

Cameroon big forward Gaston Essengue led the floor with 18 points, four steals and three rebounds, Cyrille Makanda had 15 points and three rebounds while Prfait Bitee added 13 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals.

The tournament’s winner will clinch a spot at the London Games with the teams that finish second and third booking places in the 12-team FIBA Olympic Qualifying tournament where three other places will be up for grabs.
