The Brothers release new single

A local musical group,The Brothers has released a new single called“Sawa sawa”. The song was recorded from Light Association by Junior Kaffi.After seeing several groups form and separate within a short time, The Brothers have nonetheless gone against all odds and stuck with each other for eight years.

A local musical group,The Brothers has released a new single called“Sawa sawa”. The song was recorded from Light Association by Junior Kaffi.

After seeing several groups form and separate within a short time, The Brothers have nonetheless gone against all odds and stuck with each other for eight years.

The group continues to grow stronger year after year, gaining fans from Rwanda and East Africa at large.

The group, famous for songs like “Bya bihe”, “kirori” and ‘Nsibiza’ was formed in 2003. They haverecorded more than 30 singles and several videos to accompany their tracks.

The group is set to launch another album soon after marketing all their studio projects. Their dream is to export their music regionally.

The Brothers have won two awards: The 2006 Pearl of Africa Music Awards (PAM Awards) and the 2009 SALAX Awards. They sing Hip-hop and R&B fuse with an African
touch.
