Market Report for the week ended Friday May 13, 2011

This week, the market continued to go up. BRALIRWA shares traded between Rwf200 and Rwf205 to close the week at Rwf205 per share; an increase of Rwf5 from the previous week’s closing price of Rwf200. The turnover for the week is Rwf12,605,600 from 62,600 BRALIRWA shares traded in 26 transactions.

This week, the market continued to go up. BRALIRWA shares traded between Rwf200 and Rwf205 to close the week at Rwf205 per share; an increase of Rwf5 from the previous week’s closing price of Rwf200.

The turnover for the week is Rwf12,605,600 from 62,600 BRALIRWA shares traded in 26 transactions.
 
Today, a total turnover of Rwf625,500 was recorded from 3,100 BRALIRWA shares transacted in 7 deals between Rwf200 and Rwf205 each.

At the end of normal trading hours, there was an outstanding bid of 298,000 BRALIRWA shares at Rwf200 each. On the other hand, there were outstanding offers of 74,900 BRALIRWA shares at Rwf205 each and 2,000 KCB shares at Rwf175 each.

No transaction was recorded on the KCB and NMG counters this week and their share prices remained unchanged from the previous week’s closing prices of Rwf175 and Rwf1200 respectively.

NMG shares will trade cum dividend until May 31, 2011 while KCB shares are trading ex dividend since May 9, 2011.
