THE two top leaders of the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR), Ignace Murwanashyaka and Straton Musoni, have committed heinous crimes against humanity both in Rwanda and neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo.
The news that they are due to appear in a German Court on Wednesday this week means that the World is ready to end the culture of impunity. The message is clear. Whoever commits crimes should be apprehended and face justice either in the country where the crime was committed or in a foreign country.
In so doing, I am certain that cases of crimes against humanity will go down .
