APR, St. Aloys battle for volleyball league final spot

Women volleyball league title hopefuls APR and Saint Aloys Rwamagana will lock horns in the third match of the playoffs semi-final on Sunday at Amahoro Indoor Stadium each vying to seal place in the final.

Women volleyball league title hopefuls APR and Saint Aloys Rwamagana will lock horns in the third match of the playoffs semi-final on Sunday at Amahoro Indoor Stadium each vying to seal place in the final.

 

The two sides have each won one game and the winner of today’s decider will progress to the final where they will face defending champions Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA).

 

Former champions APR won first match 3-2 at Primature courts two-weeks ago before the youthful side St. Aloys Rwamagana bounced back to win the second game 3-1. RRA reached the final after winning the semi-final against Ruhango High School 3-0 and 3-2.

 

The loser between APR and St Aloys will meet Ruhango in the third-place playoff. The final and third place playoff will be played on the best of three series.
