Mayor Bonane Nyangezi urged members of the private sector to work hand in hand with local and district authorities to boost their economic ventures.

He hailed the district private sector for putting up modern commercial buildings in Byumba town and rehabilitating buildings in all trading centers of the district.

The chairman of Gicumbi district private sector, Gratien Mupenzi, urged the district business community to pay taxes promptly and desist from corruption.

“Corruption is an enemy to development, which is why we should cooperate with relevant government organs to eradicate the vice,” said Mupenzi.
