Rwanda National Investment Trust (RNIT) last week trained business reporters as part of efforts to deepen awareness about saving and investing through investment trusts, like the RNIT Iterambera Fund.

Speaking at the training, Andre Gashugi, the RNIT chief executive officer, said it was important for reporters to understand how investment trusts operate to be able to report accurately “from an informed standpoint”.

Gashugi added that there is need for more public awareness for Rwandans to know the benefits of saving and investing through the RNIT Iterambera Fund, as well as the capital market. Through the RNIT Iterambere Fund, one can save or invest with a as low as Rwf2,000.
