ONE of Rwanda’s telecommunications companies, Tigo is set to give out prizes to local football fans in the company’s new campaign dubbed ‘Sponsor of your Passion.’
The prizes range from airtime, Plasma TV screens, Dstv decoders plus six months subscription, Tigo modems with six months internet connection and two tickets to the final of the Fifa World Cup.
The winners will be chosen from a raffle that will take place every Sunday at Isango star.
According to a source in the company, the more airtime a person buys, the higher the chances of winning.
“A 500 airtime card has 10 points; a 1000 card has 20 points, so the more airtime a fan buys, the more chances of winning some of the prizes.”
