Gospel artistes and choirs will continue to reach out to Christian music lovers in a concert themed ‘Kuramya nijuru ku isi’ that will take place tomorrow at Christian Life Assembly in Nyarutarama, Kigali.
The concert is organised by Heman Worshipers International, a gospel music group, to launch their latest Kuramya nijuru ku isi DVD. The show will commence at 3p.m with lively and spirited gospel music.
Famous gospel artistes Israel Mbonyi and Patient Bizimana will be performing alongside some of the country’s finest musicians such as the 2016 Groove Award nominees Alarm Ministries, True Promises, Gisubizo, and Healing Ministries, among others.
Bizimana told The New Times that Christians should expect an evening of great performances and uplifting music.
“For the first time I will sing one of the new songs on my third album which will be out next year. I will perform the famous Igitambambuga, song and many divine surprises on stage. We encourage everyone to attend the concert because God will refresh our lives through praise and worship,” he said.
Fiacre Nemeyimana, the event manager at Hema Worshippers International, said the choir is ready to give the best performance to the Christians that will turn up for the show.
“We have been doing a lot of practice and the choir is good to go. We are ready to give the best performance to the Christians that day. We have also been praying, so everything is good,” he said.
“It is a launch for our album so we are expecting many people to attend. The performances will be great. Imagine Patient Bizimana and Israel Mbonyi on the same stage!” he added.
The concert is expected to attract a huge audience. Tickets go for Rwf5000 with a DVD and Rwf3000 without a DVD.
