KCB Bank Rwanda was named the best exhibitor in the Financial Services category for the 2016 Expo, an accolade that demonstrates its relentless efforts in innovation and creativity within the banking industry.
According to Management, the award is a reward to the entire KCB Bank Rwanda Team’s efforts for giving excellent services to its customers. Going forward, it will also act as a motivating factor to continuously deliver innovative banking products in the Rwandan market.
The Bank used the Expo platform to showcase its online banking services as well as the new Mobi App product, which enable users to perform a host of transactions spanning from paying utility bills, transferring funds across accounts and banks and making e-transactions.
“We are excited about the new KCB Mobi App (Android, iOS). It represents our ambition to continue developing stand-out, innovative solutions for our customers,” said Albert Akimanzi KCB Bank Rwanda’s Head of Marketing and Communication.
He added that: “This app offers more than just banking services, it allows you to buy utilities, calculate loan repayment amounts, and catch up with our various social media channels.
So far, the Bank has some 40,000 users of mobile banking and Mobi App. KCB’s deliberate investment in digital banking is helping steer Rwanda’s overall ambition of creating a cashless economy.
