Bahizi 6-1, 6-1 Youngster Fabrice Tuyishime cruised past Elie Bahizi 6-1, 6-1 in the first round of men’s singles in the inaugural Umubano Hotel Tennis Open to set up a second round clash with 7th seed Saidi Nkurunziza today. The inaugural week-long tournament got underway on Monday and will run through Saturday at Umubano Hotel courts. The tournament has attracted a total of 190 players competing in five categories namely; Men’s professional singles (32), women’s professional singles (32), juniors (32), male amateur singles (62) and doubles (32). In other second round matches today, top seed Dieudonne Habiyambere face the winner between Pierre Binder and Mubaraka Harerimana, Olivier Havugimana (2) takes on the winner between Jules Ndibwami and Jean Paul Nkuranga while Mathieu Uwizeyimana (3) will be up against unseeded Bryan Ndahiro.
