The mission of the camp, run by the Rwanda Demobilisation and Reintegration Commission, is to give a new lease on life to the thousands of Rwandans who had been living in the jungles of Central Africa.

In this episode of the Survivor Series, we talk to Pascasie Nyirandihano, a former ex-combatant who fled the country in the aftermath of the Genocide in 1994. Three years later, she returned home and with the help of demobalisation camp she has been able to become a fully fledged member of the Rwandan community.
