Bralirwa counter shed Rwf2 yesterday to trade at Rwf377 compared to Rwf379 on Tuesday, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report for Thursday indicates. The company traded 5,000 shares, raking in Rwf1.9 million. This was an increase in volume and value compared to Wednesday, where the counter’s 3,000 shares totalling Rwf 1.1 million exchanged hands at Rwf379 each. The brewer is yet to release its 2014 financial results. On the Bank of Kigali counter, 100 shares worth Rwf29,500 were traded yesterday compared to 200 shares worth Rwf59,000 that were sold on Tuesday. The bank’s share price was unchanged at Rwf295. The cross-listed counters were quiet on Thursday. The Rwanda Stock Exchange Share Index (RSI) shed 0.81 points to close at 233.14 points yesterday, down from 233.95 points on Wednesday, thanks to the decline of Bralirwa share price. ben.gasore@newtimes.co.rw.
