There was low activity on the Rwanda Stock Exchange, with only Bank of Kigali shares exchanging hands, the daily market report indicates. The counter, however, shed Rwf1 during the week to close at Rwf295 yesterday, down from Rwf296 last Monday, the report shows. According to the report, the bank traded 4,600 shares in two deals, realising a total turnover of Rwf1.3 million. All the other counters were quiet yesterday. The Rwanda Stock Exchange Share Index dropped by 0.68 points, from 234.63 points last Monday to 233.95 points yesterday, thanks to a decline in Bank of Kigali share price. Beverages manufacturer, Bralirwa, Uchumi Supermarkets, Equity Group Holdings, KCB Bank Group and Nation Media Group last traded at Rwf379, Rwf104, Rwf430, Rwf185 and Rwf1,200, respectively. Bralirwa last traded on Friday, recording a total turnover of Rwf1.14 million from 3,000 shares traded in one deal, while Equity Group Holding traded 100 shares worth Rwf43,000 last Wednesday.
