Finally 2014 is a few hours from over and everyone cannot wait to see the New Year. Some plan to go to church; others to bars while a few others prefer to keep indoors on every December 31 for safety reasons. However, all the groups agree that knocking off a whole year is worth celebrating considering the number of people who pass on every single day. It is also a time to reflect on the successes and failures of the year. As The Education Times, we have registered some milestones that are worth mentioning. The magazine was for instance revamped to suit the readers’ interests while maintaining its core objective of informing, educating and entertaining the readers. That is why sections such as ‘Know your history’, ‘School memories’, ‘Book review’ and ‘Open voice’ were created. In appreciation of our efforts, the public has rewarded The Education Times with consistent readership. We cannot say thank you enough for keeping us at the top except to commit to even serve you better. We pledge to continue being your reference point on matters of education in the New Year as we strive to make a remarkable contribution in the transformation of the education sector in the country.
