World Cup trophy coming
THE coveted World Cup soccer trophy has just four more destinations to make before its high-profile and historic tour to Rwanda.
The four-month Coca Cola-sponsored trophy tour, which kicked off in Egypt on September 24, is expected to traverse more than 50 African countries.
The trophy will go through Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Burundi before landing in Kigali.
Made of 18-carat gold with a malachite base, the trophy arrived in Luanda last Sunday evening from DR Congo for a five-day tour.
The trophy leaves Luanda this evening heading to Namibia.
During the official trophy presentation at Amahoro stadium, fans will have the opportunity to have a souvenir photo taken with the trophy.
