I want to extend my appreciation to Kigali City Authority for the preparations under way to protect the people during the expected heavy rains.
Beginning this month, the experts have warned about the heavy rains in the East African region that will end up destroying houses, crops and take lives as well.
In Rwanda we have started to witness signs of the looming danger in different parts of the country where rains have destroyed houses and crops.
It is at this point where I want to commend Kigali City authorities for announcing last week that they are designing plans in preparation of the rains that will protect the residents.
This should be emulated by Ministry of Agriculture, who should put in place plans that will protect the farmer’s crops during the rains. Thank you Kigali City authority.
