East African Gospel Festival closing concert canceled

The closing for the annual gospel festival ‘Dutarame Live Concert’ that was expected to take place on August 11 at the Imbuga, Kigali Car free zone area has been canceled on the evening the concert was scheduled for. In an official announcement, worshiper Alexis Dusabe revealed that the concert will not take place due to reasons beyond their control. “Dear brothers and sisters, we regret to inform you that due to reasons beyond our control and capacity, the EAGF show will not happen today as planned even though we were ready. We are working with the City of Kigali and we will let you know soon on the new dates. Thank you and very sorry for the inconvenience caused,” said Dusabe. The surprise acts are expected to surprise and delight the audience with their unique talents and anointed expressions of gospel music. The opening concert featured renowned gospel musician Aime Uwimana, Burundian musicians Apollinaire Habonimana and David Nduwimana, as well as Rwandan rising singer Prosper Nkomezi.
