They are famous. They turn heads when they walk on the streets, but few know the women and men in the lives of these celebrities. Do you know who your celebrity is dating? The New Times gives you a glimpse into the love life of some of the famous celebrity couples in Rwanda.Claude Ndayishimye, ModelModel Jean Claude Ndayishimye, the founder of Premier Models Agency, is married to his American wife Courtney Alisha Cole and they have a son together called Solomon Liam Ndayishimye.Ndayishimiye has only good things to speak about his wife. He describes her as God fearing, beautiful, hardworking and a visionary woman. “We have been together for five years but the first three years were spent in courtship. Our strong relationship is built on being God fearing.” The couple met in church and they believe their love was God’s calling.Aime Uwimana, Gospel singer Aime Uwimana is one of Rwanda’s popular gospel artistes. He is also a music producer. Outside music, Uwimana is in a committed relationship. He is married to Claire Uwayezu and they recently blessed with a baby boy.“We have been married for two years and five months and God has blessed us with a son. I love my wife because she is everything that I would want in a woman. She is so lovely and supports me in my ministry,” narrates UwimanaOlivier Karekezi , Footballer And who says footballers only know how to dribble? Well, they also fall in love and can actually turn out to be good family men.Rwanda’s long serving national team captain Olivier Karekezi says he is currently engaged to Sorlu Niwin Olivier and are about to tie the knot. The veteran striker who recently retired from the national team is currently in Tunisia but he says he will soon be walking down the aisle. Willy Ndahiro, Actor Willy Ndahiro is a film actor famous for his lead roles in most local movies. He is married to fellow actress Nicole Manirambona. They have two children together. Ndahiro says he dearly misses his wife who is currently in Belgium. The two met when they both acted lead roles in one of the local movies. Emery Gatsinzi, aka Riderman, MusicianRiderman is a guy every girl would wish to date. He has got the looks, style, swagger and the height. He is also rich, after he recently bagged a whooping Rwf24million as the winner the Primus Guma Guma Super Star 2013.Unfortunately for the ladies who thought the rapper was single and ready to mingle, you might want to look elsewhere.Riderman is a committed man who is madly in ‘love’ with his childhood sweetheart Asinah Emire. He says; “We have been dating since 2009 and she likes me too. We have been together in all trouble and happiness which other girls can’t do. She is also God fearing and respects herself and that makes me crazy about her.” Of course there have been many rumours of the two separating because Riderman has not converted to Islam- since Asinah is from a staunch Muslim family but as it is, they are still holding on. Joshua Tuyishime, alias Jay Polly, Musician The Hip hop star is not only good at rhyming and setting trends. He is also a committed family man with responsibilities when he is off the stage.Jay Polly is a father of a baby boy with his live-in girlfriend Afsa Nirere. Real The Tuff Gangs man says him and Nirere have been together for three years.“I love her because of what she is. She is the mother of my son. She has been there for me in times of trouble and happiness and that is what keeps us together. I will love her always,” Jay Polly said. Aline Gahongayire, Gospel singerAline Gahongayire is a renowned gospel artiste, actress and businesswoman who will soon be walking down the aisle. The TPF6 auditions judge is engaged to one Gabriel Gahima and the two are soon tying the knot. Gahima and Gahongayire were friends for a long time before becoming lovers. “Gahongayire and I have been great friends for some time but we started a serious relationship last year. She is a very good person and I am proud that she accepted to be my wife” Gahima who was introduced by the singer to her family two weeks ago says. Francis Iraguha, Fashion designer Francis Iraguha is a Rwandan fashion designer and the CEO of Francis Zahabu ltd, a leading fashion house in the country. Iraguh is due to tie the knot with longtime love Sherina Ingabire. All the best for the lovebirds. “I love Sherina with all my heart because she means the world to me and she loves me too. Can’t wait to make her my wife,” says Iraguha.Tom Muyombo, aka Tom Close, Musician The RnB/Afro beat singer and pediatrician will soon walk down the aisle with his long term girlfriend Cynthia Ange Niyonshuti.Tom Close who is currently working with the Police Hospital in Kacyiru, said that he cherishes the way they love each other and that is why they have been in it for long. “Our relationship is built on God’s foundation. She loves me and I love her too,” Tom Close disclosed, adding that it will soon be wedding bells for them.
