There are even specialised clocks for the various facets of your home, just to improve their functionality. For instance, there are walls designed for the shower room, that are likely to come more water-resistant that the average, while kitchen clocks will come fitted to chime louder, since cooking is a time-sensitive chore. People that want decorative value from their wall clocks usually go for such material as fine wood, or even stone, usually paying keen attention to the texture of the material.
